About Hubbed

HUBBED is an Australian start-up that wanted to expand its network, add more network partners, and handle thousands of transactions daily without any hassle or lag. They also planned to expand to five new markets in Asia and the US. However, it wasn't an easy job on on-premise infrastructure.

With logistics companies being the sole providers & senders, there was a constant to & fro of parcels in case of failed deliveries. They needed to help courier companies manage their costs and also provide an added employment benefit for local physical retailers & agents.

We enabled them to move away from a capital-intensive, hardware-oriented infrastructure and shift towards the cloud. We set up their entire infrastructure on Amazon AWS and helped them adopt agility to deliver faster and more frequently as they add more

Goals

To create a seamless local fulfilment experience for consumers in terms of parcel management and delivery options. They wanted to optimize their interactive parcel management platform to offer more convenience and provide retailers with more delivery options. To do this, they needed to optimize their platform for faster deployment with peak performance.

We were already handling a number of their digital operations and decided to set their IT infrastructure on Amazon AWS for future growth and transformation. We brought our DevOps and cloud engineering team together for auto-scaling and load balancing and used AWS Code pipeline and code deployment for CI/CD integrations.

The Start

Offering hyperlocal fulfilment experience for consumers is very challenging for the logistics industry. The team at Hubbed realized that consumers want more delivery choices and came up with the idea of an interactive parcel management system. We became their tech partner in fine-tuning and scaling their platform to handle thousands of transactions daily by hundreds of partner networks & chains.

We created HUBBED's own infrastructure to help them control codes & architecture and migrated their 30-40 containers to Amazon AWS, the most robust cloud environment for seamless scaling. We have cloud & DevOps engineers continuously monitoring the platform to ensure continuous deployment with peak performance as Hubbed continues to scale its operations to new markets.
